What first began as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in 1993 is now the just the Anaheim Ducks. The team colors are now black, gold, and orange but they still play at their home ice of Honda Center and are yet to win a Stanley Cup, although they were one win away in 2003.

The Pacific Division of the NHL has five teams. Three of the teams come from California. Anaheim Ducks play their home games in Honda Center, the Los Angeles Kings play in Staples Center, and the San Jose Sharks play in HP Pavilion. The Dallas Stars play in American Airlines Center and the Phoenix Coyotes play in Jobing.com Arena.
