The Boston Bruins are one of the Original Six teams of the National Hockey League. Founded in 1924, the Boston Bruins would eventually become part of the Eastern Conference Northeast Division. The team plays their home games at TD Banknorth Garden and their team colors are black and gold. The Boston Bruins have won five Stanley Cups; 1929, 1939, 1941, 1969 and most recently in 1972.
