The Columbus Blue Jackets, who take home ice at Nationwide Arena, and the Nashville Predators, who do so at Gaylord Entertainment Center, are two of the newer teams of not only the NHL but the Central Division. Two of the older teams are the Chicago Blackhawks who play at United Center, and the Detroit Red Wings and their home ice Joe Louis Arena. The St. Louis Blues fall somewhere in between in terms of age, and they play in the Scottrade Center.
