The Quebec Nordiques became the Colorado Avalanche in 1995. The team plays in the Western Conference Northwest Division and Colorado Avalanche team colors are burgundy, white, silver, and blue. The Colorado Avalanche have won the Stanley Cup twice (1996 and 2001). Their home ice is at Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
