Cost of construction for the New England Patriots' new home was $325 million dollars, the most expensive privately funded stadium in history. The name was changed from CMGI stadium to Gillette Stadium in August 2002. Naming rights sold for $120 million for 15 years.

Above Gillette Stadium's two end zones are giant HDTV screens to give every New England Patriots fan a close-up view while they watch live play. Gillette Stadium includes an East and West Clubhouse, each with a 3,000-guest capacity. The Clubhouse is available to members 365 days a year. Gillette Stadium includes 86 luxury suites that range from a 16-person capacity to a 32-person capacity. One Super Suite seats up to 70 people.

The facility, which is also used for concerts, is handicapped accessible and offers 680 wheelchair spaces with companion chairs on all levels and at all price points. Typical seats are 19-21 inches wide and include arm rests and cup holders. A well-lit 16,500-space lot provides the closest parking. Gillette Stadium also boasts an end zone plaza with picnic tables to enhance the tailgating experience. Gillette Stadium is located at One Patriot Place, Foxborough, Mass.
