Ralph Wilson Stadium's former name, Rich Stadium, is one of the first examples in North American sports of a stadium selling naming rights. When the deal expired, the stadium was renamed Ralph Wilson Stadium in honor of the Buffalo Bills founder and owner Ralf C. Wilson Jr. One of the noteworthy upgrades Ralph Wilson Stadium received was the 1994 addition of a 31.5-ft. high by 41.5-ft. wide JumboTron. At the time it was the largest JumboTron in the United States. Ralph Wilson Stadium underwent additional renovations in 1999 including 76 dugout suites and two new enclosed club areas. The facility replaced 6,800 sideline club seats with revolutionary contoured heated seats, a first in North America.

Ralph Wilson Stadium is located at 1 Bills Dr. and has hosted an array of events including the World Snowmobile Association sporting event, Section VI Wrestling Championships, the Celebration of Champions, and the ICI Paints Pro-Show.
