The Baltimore Ravens joined the National Football League in 1996 and the AFC North in 2002. Before they came to Baltimore, they were the Cleveland Browns. They would not take the Browns colors and name with them; therefore, the Baltimore Ravens were born. Baltimore Ravens colors are purple, black, and gold. They won the conference championship and the Super Bowl in 2000.
