The Golden State Warriors joined the National Basketball Association as the Philadelphia Warriors in 1956. Then they were the San Francisco Warriors from 1962 until 1971, and have been the Golden State Warriors ever since. So far, the Golden State Warriors have won one NBA Championship, six conference titles, and seven division titles. Their team colors are midnight blue, California yellow, Golden Gate orange, and sky blue.

The Golden State Warriors of the Western Conference Pacific Division of the NBA take to the court at The Oracle for their homes games, just like the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers take to the court at Staples Center. Rounding out the rest of the division are the Phoenix Suns who play in America West Arena and the Golden State Warriors who play in The Oracle.
