The first WrestleMania and the first WNBA All-Star Game made sports history at Madison Square Garden. The Grammy Awards and the 2005 Country Music Association Awards were also held at Madison Square Garden, despite their longtime history in other cities. The facility has also hosted events for tennis, ice skating, and the circus. Madison Square Garden is the site for most large New York concerts including The Concert for New York City which followed September 11.

Getting There and Getting Around

Madison Square Garden's location at 4 Pennsylvania Plaza, in the heart of mid-town Manhattan, makes it an ideal place to start or end an evening.
