Hurricane Katrina left the New Orleans Hornets in search of a new place to play. Part of their season is going to be played at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City and at the Pete Maravich Center in Baton Rouge. The other four teams in the Western Conference Southwest Division of the NBA remain at the same venue as the previous year. The Dallas Mavericks play at American Airlines Center, the Houston Rockets play in the Toyota Center, and the San Antonio Spurs play at SBC Center as the pride of Texas in the NBA. The Memphis Grizzlies call FedEx Forum home to round out in the Southwest Conference.
