The Miami Heat joined the National Basketball Association in 1988, when they became a part of the Eastern Conference Southeast Division. The team plays their home games at American Airlines Arena and their team colors are red, black, flame orange, and yellow. In their history, the Miami Heat have won no NBA championships, no conference titles, and six division titles. Notable former players include Dan Majerle, Jamal Mashburn, and Glen Rice.
