Philadelphia 76ers Info
The Philadelphia 76ers joined the National Basketball Association and the Eastern Conference Atlantic Division in 1949. Before they were known as the Philadelphia 76ers, the team was known as the Syracuse Nationals from 1939 until 1963. Their home court of Wachovia Center and their team colors of black, red, gold, and blue are two of the recognizable characteristics of the Philadelphia 76ers. The team has won three NBA championships, six conference titles, and 11 division titles. Notable former players include Wilt Chamberlain, Julius Irving, and Charles Barkley.

The Eastern Conference Atlantic Division of the NBA has five teams who each have a stadium they call home. The Toronto Raptors play in Air Canada Centre as the only team in the division, and in the entire NBA, outside of the United States. When the New York Knicks take the court at Madison Square Garden, they are playing in one of the oldest stadiums. The Philadelphia 76ers’ Wachovia Center and the Boston Celtics home of TD Banknorth Garden have been around since the mid-90s. Continental Airlines Arena has hosted New Jersey Nets games since 1981.
With all the changes in the NBA season after season as players go from team to team, it can be hard to figure out who plays where. BuySellTix.com has rosters for every team in the Atlantic Division. The Boston Celtics Roster, New York Knicks Roster, and New Jersey Nets Roster are all available. There is also the Philadelphia 76ers Roster and the Toronto Raptors Roster.
