O'Reilly 200 will be held at Memphis Motorsports Park on June 19, 2004. Memphis Motorsports Park, near Memphis, TN, is a 3/4-mile oval as well as an 1/4-mile drag strip, with an 11-degree banking in the oval track's turns. Memphis Motorsports Park hosts a variety of events including: the NASCAR Busch Series Grand National Division, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, ASA AC Delco Challenge Series, and the NHRA. In 1986, Memphis Motorsports Park started out as a multi-track facility run by a group of investors headed by Ed Gatlin. Ten years later, the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach, one of the major players in American motorsports, bought Memphis Motorsports Park from Gatlin's group. Now they have reached out to Mid-America in a big way.
