The Kansas City Royals joined Pro Baseball in 1969, when they became part of the American League West Division. In 1994, the Kansas City Royals moved to the American League Central Division. The Kansas City Royals won the World Series in 1985, their only win so far. Municipal Stadium was the first home field for the Kansas City Royals; they moved into Kauffman Stadium in 1973. The Kansas City Royals still play in Kauffman Stadium today.
