The Cincinnati Reds were founded in 1867 as the Cincinnati Red Stockings. Two years later, the team would turn professional and would join Pro Baseball as the Cincinnati Reds in 1882. The Cincinnati Reds joined the National League in 1890; became part of the West Division in 1969 before finally settling in National League Central Division in 1994. The Cincinnati Reds won five World Series titles, the first coming in 1919 and the most recent in 1990. Prior to moving into their recent home of Great American Ballpark in 2003, the Cincinnati Reds had played in six different stadiums.
