Baltimore Orioles Info
The team that would become the Baltimore Orioles opened the 1901 season in Milwaukee. In 1902, the team moved to St. Louis and became known as the Browns. The Browns stayed there until 1953 and won just one AL pennant (in 1944) and appeared in just one World Series -- a loss to the Cardinals in 1944. In 1954, the Browns moved to Baltimore and became the Baltimore Orioles after Bill Veeck sold the team to groups in Baltimore. Since that move, the team has won three World Series. The Baltimore Orioles play at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
