Chicago Cubs Info
The Chicago Cubs became part of Pro Baseball in 1876 as the Chicago White Stockings. They became the Chicago Colts in 1890, the Chicago Orphans in 1898, and finally settled on the Chicago Cubs in 1902. In 1969 the Chicago Cubs joined the National League East Division, and were moved to the National League Central Division in 1994, which is where they still play today. The Chicago Cubs won two World Series, one in 1907 and again in 1908. Prior to their current home of Wrigley Field, where they have played since 1916, the Chicago Cubs played in six different ballparks including Soldier Field.
