The Atlanta Braves joined Pro Baseball in 1876 as a team in the National League, who were known as the Boston Red Stockings. The Boston Red Stockings were replaced with the Boston Red Sox of the American League in 1901, and the team moved to Milwaukee in 1953. Then the team moved to Atlanta in 1966. They joined the National League West Division in 1969, and in 1994 joined the National League East Division. The Atlanta Braves have three World Series titles, with the first one coming in 1914 and the most recent in 1995. Prior to moving into their current home field of Tuner Field in 1997, the Atlanta Braves played in eight different stadiums.
