The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim joined Pro Baseball in 1961 as part of the American League; they joined the West Division in 1969. When they first joined Pro Baseball in 1961, they were known as the Los Angeles Angels; then their name changed to California Angles in 1965; then they were the Anaheim Angels; and now, they are known as the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim won their first and only World Series in 2002. In their first year, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim played in the Los Angeles Wrigley Field; then they moved to Chez Ravine until 1965. Since then the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have been playing in Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
