► Why I didn't get confirmation email?

Many of the ISPs (Internet Service Providers) such as MSN Hotmail, AOL and Yahoo have created programs that allow their subscribers (that's you) greater control over what appears in their inboxes. Filters can now be set according to the user's preferences to prevent SPAM from reaching the inbox. (Please check your Bulk/SPAM folder for any buyselltix email.) Along the way, however, these filters can block emails you do wish to receive, like BuySellTix confirmation email - unless you add BuySellTix to your email address book.
Adding BuySellTix to your address book:
- For AOL Subscriber
Click the 'Address Book' button to open your address book in the AOL browser. Click the 'Add Contact' button. Type in postings@buyselltix.com and ticket_order@buyselltix.com in the 'Screen Name' field then click 'Save.'
- For Earthlink Subscribers
Click the 'Address Book' button to open your address book in the Earthlink browser. Click the 'Add Contact' button, if you use EarthLink 5.0 click the 'Add' button. Type in postings@buyselltix.com and ticket_order@buyselltix.com in the 'email address field' then click 'OK.'
- For MSN/Hotmail Subscribers
Go to the 'Options' page in your MSN Hotmail browser. Under the 'Mail Handling' section, click 'Safe List.' Type postings@buyselltix.com and ticket_order@buyselltix.com into the 'Type a single e-mail address (or domain)' field. Click 'Add' then click 'OK.'
- For Yahoo Subscribers
Click the 'Addresses' button to open your address book in the Yahoo browser. Click the 'Add a New Contact' button. Type in postings@buyselltix.com and ticket_order@buyselltix.com in the 'Email' field then click 'Save Contact.'

► Can I sell tickets for more than face value?

Face value laws vary depending on the state in which the event is happening, the type of event, your state of residence and other factors. For additional information regarding face value laws, please check with your state government. Certain states have laws regarding the reselling of event tickets. Some of the states with regulations regarding the reselling of tickets. This ticket scalping article provides some information regarding restrictions of certain states. You may also look up a list of applicable state laws.
We do not guarantee that the information on these sites is accurate, we are simply providing these resources to help ensure you are aware of all laws pertaining to ticket transactions. You may wish to do your own research regarding these laws.
Ticket Scalping: Section 578.395 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri, provides, in part: Any person, firm, or corporation who resells or offers to resell any ticket for admission, or any other evidence of the right of entry, to any public sporting event for a price in excess of the price printed on the ticket is guilty of the offense of ticket scalping.

► Do you guarantee individual ticket listings?

No, because BuySellTix.com is a free marketplace, we can not guarantee the authenticity of tickets listed by individuals, as such we only guarantee those tickets listed by brokers. We do not guarantee the legitimacy of tickets listed by individuals. Tickets sold by individuals are identified clearly. We differentiate between tickets listed by an individual with a "More Info" button so that buyers can contact the seller directly.

► Individual Listings: How do I get paid or How can I make a payment or How can I protect myself against fraud?

We recommend COD (Collect on Delivery) services by FedEx, USPS or UPS, etc. This method protects both the buyer and seller. As a buyer, make sure the seller has the tickets before you pay for them. One method is to have them fax you a photocopy of the tickets. Never send cash or wire money as payment for tickets. Pay by credit card whenever possible, as your credit card company will protect you against fraudulent transactions. If you are feeling uncertain about the legitimacy of a transaction, walk away from the deal.

As a seller, you should make payment arrangements before shipping your tickets. Using a COD service will ensure that you receive payment upon delivery of the tickets.

► Does Buyselltix handle financial transactions from individual ticket listings?

BuySellTix.com is never involved in payment arrangements for tickets sold by individuals. Those transactions are negotiated directly between the buyer and seller. BuySellTix.com will never send an email authorizing a wire transfer or any other form of payment for individual ticket listings.

► Whom should I contact for information about individual listings?

If you have any questions regarding an individual listing, you should contact the individual buyer or seller. We do not maintain information about individual listings, buyers or sellers.

► Do you guarantee tickets purchased from brokers?

BuySellTix.com backs up tickets purchased through a broker with a 100% guarantee. After you confirm your order, we guarantee that you will receive the tickets you selected. If the tickets you selected are not available after you receive order confirmation from us, we will substitute a comparable or better ticket for the same price or we'll refund your money. We also guarantee that our selection will include competitive pricing on all comparable tickets available on other sites.

► Can I be sure the brokers tickets are legitimate?

BuySellTix.com holds its brokers to stringent rules for listing tickets. We thoroughly screen and check all references for every broker who lists tickets with us. Since brokers rely on repeat business and access to the market, they have a vested interest in maintaining good relationships. Our position within the market allows us to offer the widest selection of tickets and enforce industry standards. We pride ourselves on our reputation and guarantee the broker will deliver authentic tickets. Tickets listed by brokers are followed by an "Add to Cart" button and you can purchase them directly online.

► Why do ticket brokers sell tickets for more than face value?

The amount that ticket brokers charge over face value reflects the cost of obtaining premium seating. Ticket brokers often obtain their tickets from various wholesalers and season ticket holders and are forced to pay well over face value.

► What happens if event doesn't take place (e.g. 7th game of World Series)?

If your event does not take place, you will need to contact us so we can arrange for the tickets to be returned to our office. When the tickets are received by our office, we will issue a full refund minus the shipping and order processing fees. Please contact us in such situations so that we can make proper arrangements.

► What happens if a game or concert is cancelled?

An event that is cancelled may be rescheduled and your ticket is valid. If the cancelled event is not rescheduled for any reason other than an act of God (rainout, earthquake, flood, etc.), war, terrorism, strike, or lockout, we will provide a full refund for the amount that you paid for the tickets purchased from a broker. Any shipping charges are not refundable. TICKETS MUST BE RECEIVED BACK IN OUR OFFICE WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE CANCELLATION. We suggest returning tickets via certified mail or using a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery. No refunds will be made in the instance of a rainout or strike for a sporting event. You must exchange the tickets at the ballpark for a seat to a future game. In all instances other than those mentioned above, we will attempt in every case to obtain a refund from the original seller of the tickets; however, no refund or percentage of refund can be guaranteed. You can get a refund if an event doesn't take place; for instance, if the World Series doesn't go to a seventh game and you purchased tickets in advance for World Series Game 7. Only the shipping and order processing fees are paid. If you buy tickets from an individual listing you need to check the seller's policies.

► Why doesn't anything happen after I click on 'Add to Cart'? Why can't I see a seating chart or the Terms and Conditions Window?

This might be happening because of faulty browser settings. Please reset your browser and security settings to "default" and it should start working for you.
Note: to reset browser settings on Internet Explorer:
Click on Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Reset to Default and
Tools> Internet Options> Security> Default Level
