Three Dog Night Information

Three Dog Night formed in 1968 with the use of three vocalists in Danny Hutton, Chuck Negron, and Cory Wells. Eventually the three some would hire a backing band. All together, Three Dog Night saw 14 gold albums and 21 Top 40 Billboard hits. Three of those songs were No. 1 hits.

Randy Newman, Laura Nyro, and Leo Sawyer are just some of the other performers that have used Three Dog Night songs. Current Three Dog Night members include Hutton, keyboardist Jimmy Greenspan, guitarist Michael Allsup, bassist Paul Kingery and drummer Pat Bautz.
