The Lennon Sisters (no relation to former Beatle John Lennon) began in Los Angeles, California. Their first appearance was on The Lawrence Welk Show in 1955. They would appear on the show until 1968. The Lennon Sisters have released nine albums, with their most recent, Noel, coming in 1996. Current Lennon sisters in the group are Mimi, Janet, and Kathy.
