The Killers Information

Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, Mark Stoermer, and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. are members of the Las Vegas, Nevada, band The Killers. The Killers formed in 2001. The Killers would release their debut Hot Fuss in 2004, first in the UK and then in the United States a week later. The first single, "Somebody Told Me," hit No. 3 on the Modern Rock charts while the second single, "Mr. Brightside" hit No. 3. "All These Things That I've Done" and "Smile Like You Mean It" were two singles off of Hot Fuss that also hit the charts.

The Killers were nominated for Best Rock Album for Hot Fuss; Best Rock Song and Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group for "Somebody Told Me" at the 2005 Grammy Awards, but they did not win. In 2006, the Killers were again shut out at the Grammy Awards, despite two nominations for Best Pop Duo or Group with Vocal for "Mr. Brightside" and Best Rock Duo or Group with Vocal for "All These Things That I Have Done."

The Killers have made a number of television appearances, including Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Saturday Night Live. They also played at Live 8 on the London stage on July 2, 2005. The Killers most recent release, Sam's Town, was released in 2006.
