Vocalist Alex Dezen and bassist Ted Hudson met in college and would eventually move to Brooklyn. They would then add guitarist David Chernis and drummer Steven Terry to their band. The band released their debut, Bastards of the Beat, in 2003; that was followed by Air Stereo in 2006.
