The Commitments Information

The Commitments are guitarist Kenneth McCluskey, drummer Dick Massey, keyboardist Darragh O'Kelly, vocalists Joe Walsh, Claire Malone, and Karen Coleman, bassist Darren Hanley, saxophonist Serge Stavila, and trumpeter Danny Healy. The band celebrated their first world tour in 1991 thanks to the success of the Alan Park film and the Roddy Doyle novel of the same name.

After taking some time off, the band reformed in 1993 and have been touring the world ever since. Many of their shows have sold out throughout the UK and Europe. The band has released a self-titled debut album that was followed by The Commitments Vol. 2.
