Televised on FOX, a grueling 12-week competition culminates in one dancer dancing into America's heart. So You Think You Can Dance is like a dance version of American Idol. Created by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe the television show whittles down from 20 contestants to a single winner. Following the finale contests kick off a national tour to showcase their talents.

Final four contestants Donyelle Jones, Heidi Groskreutz, Travis Wall, and Benji Schwimmer are all expected to perform in the 2006 So You Think You Can Dance tour. Winners of the competition receive a one year contract for Celine Dion's Vegas show, a brand new car and $100K cash. Contestants perform a particular style of dance each week with a partner. The three couples with the least votes perform a solo of their choice for the judges and a male and female contestant are eliminated.
