Ryan Adams Information

When Elton John refers to you as "Oh Fabulous One" you're probably an artist to keep an eye on. Ryan Adams was born in 1974 and quit school by 16 to focus more on music. He spent five years with a band called Whiskeytown before releasing his first album in 2000. The prolific alternative, country, and rock singer and songwriter released six albums in five years and contributed to several other artists' abums.

Ryan Adams has contributed songs for a number of films, most recently Elizabethtown and 2006's The Breakup. In 2005 Ryan Adams released three albums, the collaborations Cold Roses and Jacksonville City Nights and a solo album entitled 29.
