Born Robert Peter Williams on February 13, 1974 in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, Robbie Williams got his start in music as a member of the boy band Take That. Take That was formed in England in 1990 and had eight No. 1 hits on the UK. Robbie Williams lasted with the band for five years before going out on his own as a solo artist.

Life Thru A Lens was released in 1996. The single "Angels" helped the release hit No. 1 on the charts, while the song hit No. 4. I've Been Expecting You was released in 1998. It would go on to sell 2.7 million copies, as his best-selling album to date. The single "Millennium" would hit No. 1 in the UK. Singing When You're Winning was released in 2000; the single "Rock DJ" hit No. 1 on the charts.

Singing When You're Winning was released in 2001, which was followed up with Escapology in 2002. Intensive Care was released in 2005; it would hit No. 1 in the UK. The 2006 release Rudebox is the most recent from Robbie Williams.
