Pet Shop Boys Information

Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe are the two members of the English electronic band Pet Shop Boys. Tennant does the vocals, keyboards and occasional guitar, while Lowe also plays keyboard he occasionally sings. The group formed in 1981 when they met in an electronics shop in Chelsea. The two hit it off and began writing songs together.

The first of 28 Pet Shop Boys releases was Please in 1986. The most recent Pet Shop Boys release was 2006's Fundamental. Thirty-eight Pet Shop Boys songs have been in the Top 40 in the UK; included in that number are four No. 1 songs in "West End Girls," "It's a Sin," "Always on My Mind," and "Heart."
