Pat Metheny Information

Jazz guitarist Pat Metheny was born August 12, 1954. Known around the world, Pat Metheny also worked with the Pat Metheny Group in addition to his very own collaborations, duets, solo works, etc.

The first album that Pat Metheny had a hand in was 1975's Bright Size Life. His next release would come two years later. Over the course of more album releases, Pat Metheny worked with his Pat Metheny Group and other various artists including Dave Holland, Roy Haynes, John Scofield, and Herbie Handcock.

Altogether, Pat Metheny has won over a dozen Grammy Awards. He has also had a hand in dozens of albums, whether he was with the Pat Metheny Group, working as a duet, or as a solo artist.
