Lorca, Luna and Luciana Information

Lorca, Luna, and Luciana takes place September 11th at Ravinia in Highland Park, Illinois. The Luna Negra Dance Theater with Harolyn Blackwell as soprano, vocalist Luciana Souza, Stephen Salters as baritone, and pianists Edward Simon and Welz Kauffman. Neruda Songs includes Lara as Don Quixote, Ibert as Chansons de Don Quichotle, Ravel as Don Quichotle a Dulcinee, and Leigh/Darion as The Impossible Dream from Man of la Mancha.

The night begins with Brazilian jazz singer Luciana Souza. Then Luna Negra reprises "Don Quixote Dances" with the voice of Salters.
