Liquid Soul Information

Jazz band Liquid Soul was founded in Chicago, Illinois in 1994. Current members include bassist Josh Ramos, MC Mr. Greenweedz, guitarist Tommy Klein, trumpeter Doug Corcoran, drummer Tony Taylor, saxophonist Mars Williams and David Arrendondo on the beatbox and turntables. Liquid Soul debuted in 1996 with their self-titled release.

Their 2000 release, Here's the Deal, was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Album. So far, they have performed in 42 states and in Canada, Japan, Turkey, and Mexico and have released five albums over the years.
