Kottonmouth Kings Information

Hip-hop/rap core group Kottonmouth Kings hail from Placentia, California, and claim to have had "10 years of touring under their belts, 1 million records sold, over 1 million tickets purchased, 675,000 miles traveled, 1,500 quality shows delivered" and so the list goes on.

Formed in 1994, the Kottonmouth Kings (rappers D-Loc and Johnny Richter, producer Brad "Daddy X" Xavier, drummer Lou Dog, DJ Bobby B, break dancer Pakelika, and the Taxman) first appeared on the Scream 2 soundtrack with their single "Suburban Life." Their EP Stoners Reeking Havoc was released on their own Suburban Noize label in 1998. Royal Highness was their full length debut on the same label later that same year.

Hidden Stash came in 1999, and 2001's High Society saw them score gigs with D12 and Bionic Jive that fall. A few more releases later, and Kottonmouth Kings found themselves with their seventh studio release, 2005's appropriately titled No. 7. Kottonmouth Kings' latest release was Koast to Koast in 2006.
