JVC Jazz Festival Information

The JVC Jazz Festival takes place in Chicago, Illinois; Newport, Rhode Island; and Concord and Los Angeles, California, as part of the U. S. Tour; there are also JVC Jazz Festivals at New York City and Newport, Rhode Island. International festivals include Netherlands, France, and Poland.

The JVC Jazz Festival features different artists at each stop, with different dates for each location. Beginning in 1984, the JVC Jazz Festival has presented over 47,000 individual musicians and legendary performers at over 160 festivals in front of 4 million people. Dizzy Gillespie, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, David Sanbourn, and Earth, Wind, and Fire are just some of the performers from previous JVC Jazz Fests. Held in concert halls, outdoor venues, and clubs, the JVC Jazz Festival manages to bring back thousands of fans every year.
