Julie Roberts Information

American country singer Julie Roberts got her big break in 2004 with the hit song "Break Down Here" and again in 2006 when she remade "Girl Next Door" (originally by Saving Jane).

Born in 1979, Julie Roberts began her career when she was just a child. In junior high and high school, Julie Roberts spent her time touring with her family while they performed at festivals in North and South Carolina, and Georgia. When she graduated from Belmont University in Tennessee, she began working for Mercury Records. While she was there, she worked on her singing and recorded a demo tape.

Julie Roberts was signed to Mercury Records, and her self-titled debut album was released in 2004. Julie Roberts hit No. 9 on the country charts and was certified gold as of December 2004. Three of her singles from Julie Roberts were in the Top 50 of the US Country charts. Her follow-up album, Men & Mascara, was released in 2006.
