Jonny Lang Information

Jonny Lang released his fist album, Smokin, featuring himself and the Big Bang, at the age of just 14. One year later, he released his solo debut Lie to Me.

Born on January 29, 1981, Jonny Lang started playing guitar at the age of 12. His dad took him to see the Bad Medicine Blues Band, which inspired Jonny Lang to learn the guitar. Several months later, he joined the band and they changed their name to Kid Jonny Lang and the Big Bang.

Jonny Lang was signed to A&M Records in 1996, and his Lie to Me hit multi-platinum. Wander This World was released in 1998, and Jonny Lang was nominated for a Grammy Award. Jonny Lang released Long Time Coming in 2003, and Turn Around is scheduled for release in late 2006.

Jonny Lang married longtime girlfriend Haylie Johnson in 2001, and they currently reside in Los Angeles.
