John McEuen Information

John McEuen is sometimes referred to as America's instrumental poet. Over 30 years of performing worldwide sets John McEuen apart from many other performers. John McEuen can play the acoustic guitar, banjo, fiddle, and mandolin.

As a founding member of the Nitty Gritty Band back in 1966, John McEnue began his music career 21 years prior. His talents have been showcased by way of over 2 million miles of travel, over 10,000 interviews and over 300 television performances, and over 5,000 shows around the world.

While he was with the Nitty Gritty Band, they released over 30 albums. He credits his musical inspiration to seeing the Dillards in Southern California early on. The Nitty Gritty Band has been touring for over 40 years.
