Jason Mraz Information

Jason Mraz was born on June 23, 1977 but did not start learning how to play guitar until he was 18. His major-label debut Waiting for My Rocket to Come was released in 2002. Thanks to the hit single "The Remedy (I Won't Worry)," Waiting for My Rocket to Come wound up going platinum by May 2005.

In June and July 2005, Jason Mraz opened for Alanis Morissette on her Jagged Little Pill acoustic tour. Around that same time, he released Mr. A-Z. It entered the Billboard 200 charts at No. 5 as it sold 90,000 copies in its first week of release. Mr. A-Z was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album, Non Classical.

Jason Mraz has toured around in the world in places such as Australia, Singapore, and the Philippines; most of the time he only tours in the United States.
