Hardcore band GWAR began in 1985 while the members were attending Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virgina. Best known for their sci-fi/horror film inspired costumes, GWAR also features raunchy, obscene, and politically incorrect lyrics. However, it is generally all in good fun.
Hell-O was GWAR's debut in 1988. By 2006, GWAR released 10 more albums, with Beyond Hell coming in 2006 as their most recent. GWAR also recorded two live albums: You're All Worthless and Weak in 2000 and Live From Mt. Fuji in 2005.
