Doodlebops Information

Preschoolers delight in the kid band the Doodlebops featured on Playhouse Disney. In the band, Deedee plays either a Keytar or a keyboard, Moe plays drums, and Rooney plays the guitar. The blue-, orange-, and pink-haired trio developed a strong television following on their Canadian musical comedy series beginning in 2004. The series stars are Lisa J. Lennox as Deedee Doodle, Chad McNamara as Rooney Doodle, and Jonathan Wexler as Moe Doodle. Repetitive gags may get on parents nerves but most three-year olds know that "Don't Pull the Rope" means something funny is coming.

Limited engagements started for the Doodlebops in 2005. The Fall of 2006 saw their first large scale concert tour. A mix of Doodlebops music, humor and skits teach fans valuable pro-social lessons with songs such as "Different Things," and "Together Forever."
