Disturbed Information

The Chicago-based band Disturbed formed in 1996 but really broke out in the music scene in 2000. The single "Stupify" off of The Sickness rose to No. 10 on the charts and several Top 10 Disturbed songs hit the charts during the next several years. Disturbed's second album Believe debuted at No. 1 in 2002 as did the follow up album Ten Thousand Fists. The hard rock band is sometimes classified as nu metal, a categorization Disturbed rejects.

Current members of Disturbed include Dan Donegan, Mike Wengren, John Moyer, and singer David Draiman. Disturbed has provided music for the soundtracks of more than 15 feature films and video games. They have appeared on the Ozzfest tour a number of times moving up to headline status.
