The lack of family time influenced his decision to move to Las Vegas to settle down with his family. The move to Las Vegas worked out perfect for his career and family, as they were able to be in a permanent place, while Gans quickly became one of the hottest performers in all of Las Vegas. The community has also benefited by the arrival of Gans, with his active participation in many charities and benefits. In particular, he has helped raise over $75, 000 for the Boys and Girls charity in Nevada. Gans has also finished his first album, which climbed to nineteenth on the Christian pop charts. Recently Danny Gans celebrated two straight years of selling out of his 1,250 seat theatre at the Mirage, and was named .Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year. for the sixth straight year in a row.
