Carrot Top Information

Born in Cocoa Beach FL, Carrot Top is one of the most popular and successful comedians in America, and remains the only person to take home both Entertainer of the year, and Comedian of the year. Currently, Carrot Top stars for 15 weeks in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand, takes in 100+ concerts nationwide, and makes a lot of television appearances. Carrot Top is currently in his third year as the pitchman for 1-800-CALLATT, which has made him a household name. As the son of a NASA scientist, Carrot Top thought about being an astronaut, but ultimately decided his fame would be in the profession of a comedian. After going to a comedy club during his freshman year at Florida Atlantic, and learned about an open mic night and from then on out he was going to be a comedian.

After being out of comedy for a few years in the 1980's, Carrot top got back in 1987 doing a New Year.s gig at a Florida comedy club. And started going outside Florida by 1990. In 1992 he did his first stint on 'The Tonight Show', and has done a dozen more since. Viewers usually see the crazy side of Carrot Top when featured on television shows such as; 'Live with Regis', 'Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher', ESPN Commercials, as well as movies such as Dennis the Menace Strikes Back, Chairman of the Board, and others. Even though he comes off as a crazy individual, Carrot Top has used his laughter as medicine, proudly volunteering for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, The Ronald McDonald House, and The Mustard Seed Organization. 'Everyone has the gift of laughter in them, all the world is a prop', he has said.
