Candlebox Information

The rock band Candlebox originated in Seattle and followed the grunge music that dominated the 1990s. Candlebox had sold more than 4 million copies of their self-titled debut as the first successful act on Madonna's Maverick Records. An explosive live show fueled their reputation. Best known for the singles "Change," "You," "Simple Lessons," and "Far Behind," the latter spent seven months on Billboard's Top 20 in 1993. Their second album sold less but did go gold in 1996. Despite diminishing sales the single "It's Alright" was their highest charting single, reaching No. 2 on the U.S. mainstream rock chart.

Candlebox under went some lineup changes before disbanding to pursue individual projects. In 2006 the original lineup reunited and embarked on a tour. Members include Kevin Martin - vocals, guitar; Scott Mercado – drums; Peter Klett – guitar; and Bardi Martin – bass.
