The indie rock band Built to Spill formed in Idaho in 1992. Doug Martsch formed the band with the intention of changing members for each album. The band developed a following and toured as part of Lollapalooza.
After several indie albums and their first major label release Perfect From Now On, Brett Nelson and Scott Plouf became permanent members of the band. The band achieved critical success first and commercial success followed with subsequent albums. You In Reverse, released on April 11, 2006, is the first studio album in five years.
