Brian Culbertson Information

Brian Culbertson was born January 12, 1973. He plays both the keyboard and the trombone. Brian Culbertson's music is influenced by funk, but he has also taken to such violinists as Trey Lorenz and Kenny Lattimore for assistance in his work.

To date, Brian Culbertson has released eight albums. Long Night Out was his debut in 1994, and 1995 saw After Hours and Modern Life, all through the Blue Moon Label. The next three releases came through the Atlantic label, one through Warner Jazz, and his most recent, It's On Tonight, was released through GRP in 2005.

Brian Culbertson also works as a composer and arranger, and has worked with the likes of Dave Koz, Peter White, and Richard Elliot, to name a few.
