Bo Bice Information

America got to know Bo Bice as the runner up on the fourth season of American Idol, losing to Carrie Underwood. Bo Bice moved around much during his childhood, exposing him to American and European music trends. By college he was a veteran of the nightclub circuit, having performed solo and with rock bands. His style of music and his age broke the typical American Idol mold, yet he was very successful. During the American Idols Live tour Bo Bice was hospitalized with intestinal surgery. He has since overcome his illness and made several public performances.

The Real Thing , Bo Bice's solo debut album, was released on December 13, 2005. It opened at No. 4. His current band, SugarMoney, appears on three songs for his debut album. Music professionals have recognized his talent as well. Within a year of his 2005 appearance on American Idol Bo Bice has performed with Willie Nelson, Richie Sambora, Trey Anastasio, and Carlos Santana.

Bo Bice is married and his first child was born in 2005.
