Bif Naked Information

The sultry, heavily tattooed Bif Naked has gotten as much attention for her look and her lifestyle as for her music. But the Canadian punk rock singer doesn't separate the two. Lyrics to her songs discuss a wide range of topics including her bisexuality and a rape experience. She has been recording solo since 1994. Her most recent release, Superbeautiful Monster, came out in 2005.

Born Beth Torbert, Bif Naked was adopted and raised by missionaries. She has been described as a tattooed and pierced skateboarding, BMX bike riding, coffee-drinking vegetarian punk princess. She is also a noted poet, releasing some songs of all spoken words. Diagnosed with a heart aneurysm, she is extremely health conscious and a devoted vegan. Prior to her solo career, Bif played with punk bands Gorilla Gorilla and Chrome Dog.
