Ben Taylor Band Information

When Carly Simon and James Taylor are your parents it is an understatement to say you have musical genes. Ben Taylor collaborated with friends Adam MacDougall and Larry Ciancia to form The Ben Taylor Band while he was trying to nail down his musical style. They released Famous Among the Barns in 2003 followed by EP #1.

In 2005 Ben Taylor released a solo album entitled Another Run Around the Sun. However, Larry Ciancia still appears on the album as well as Carly Simon, Ben's sister Sally Taylor, and Kevin Bacon. The album is more acoustic and reminiscent of the Taylor family music. The vocal quality is remarkably similar to James Taylor but the songs represent Ben Taylor's experiences.
