Asylum Street Spankers Information

Formed in Austin, Texas, Asylum Street Spankers is a swing, jazz, and dirty-blues band. Common references in their songs include drugs and sex. One thing that sets the Asylum Street Spankers apart from other bands is the fact that they play their shows acoustically.

Current members include Christina Marrs, Wammo, Scott Marcus, PB Shane, Nevada Newman, and Sick. The list of former members is more than 20 people long. So far, Asylum Street Spankers have had a dozen releases; the most recent was 2006's Pussycat Bootleg Series, Vol. 2: Live Rarities 2000-2004.
